How does everyone do their drop shadows? The easiest way I have found is to make my page then shadow from the bottom to top. I try to make the element shadows look like they would IRL. So the closer the element is to the paper, the smaller the shadow. What works for you?

I usually do my whole LO and then shadow at the end, unless something just isn't looking right and then I shadow as I go along. I think dropshadows are possibly the most important step in making a LO because without them, stuff just doesn't look real! I asked for clustering tips once and someone linked me to these styles by Flergs and they are so awesome! I use them on literally every page! And they have three settings for close the the page, a middle setting, and far away.

She has a tutorial on her blog too for doing it yourself.

I use PSE and I play around with shadows a lot. There was a wonderful shadow tutorial among the PSE lessons I was (well--still am) taking.
My favorite is making custom shadows using the sponge tool so my photo looks like it has a bend in it.

Flergs rocks - I have some of hers too :) I also have Jenn Barrette styles too.
I add my drops at the end. I also like to do grade shadows underneath esp with flowers.
For example, if I have quite a lot of flowers clustered I will work out which ones are at the same level and shadow them the same. I will use the same drop shadow and then scale the effects by percenatge to make the drop shadow. So the bottom flowers would be at 100%, the next would be 80% then next 60% and so on. I did this with the page below.

That is one technique I just can't get. Where are you taking lessons and which one was that? I might have some time this summer if it keeps going the way I want it to. :)
